Privacy policy
Designer News collects as little as it can get away with. Here is the full picture.
What we collect. If you create an account: your email address, a username, and whatever you add to your profile. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and profile photo from Google. Your comments and votes are stored so the site can work. Comments and upvotes appear on your public profile; downvotes are private to you.
What we do not do. No advertising trackers, no selling data, no analytics that follow you around the web. Cookies are used only to keep you signed in.
Who processes data for us.Our database and authentication run on Supabase, and the site is hosted on Vercel. Link thumbnails are loaded from Google's favicon service, which means your browser requests an icon from Google when a page renders.
Your data, your call. You can edit your profile at any time, and delete your account from settings, which permanently removes your profile, votes and comments.
